Is mixed exclusively for ShopOnLion and is not available through any other outlet. These blends are extremely easy to work with and make the best tasting Biltong.

Premium Biltong Spice is now available in two secret blends. The Original Premium biltong spice, known and loved for many years and the unique new Premium Preserve biltong spice.

The blends are packaged in 450 gram reseal packs.

The Original Premium Biltong Spice

Is perfectly suited for home use. This high quality spice is not a low cost blend used by some butchers to increase their profit margins. Because the blend contains no nitrates, nitrites or preservatives it can also be used to season all types of meat to give the unique flavour of African biltong. Use 40 to 50 grams per kilogram of meat.

Premium Preserve Biltong Spice

Has the qualities of The Original Premium Biltong Spice but with additional salt, food grade seasonings and preservatives to add extra flavour, combat mould growth during manufacture and extend shelf life of the final product. Use 35 to 50 grams per kilogram of meat.
Contains: Salt, Spices, Spice Extracts, Sucrose, Dextrose, Wheat Cereal, MSG, Ascorbic Acid, Potassium Sorbate
